Calculation and load testing of skew orthogonal girder bridge
Reference is made to study conducted in United States on load distribution of rectangular girder bridges with reinforced concrete slab and its results which were incorporated into Standard Specifications for Highway Bridges; it is suggested that specifications should be extended so that they may be applied to design of skew bridges; results are given of static calculation and load tests of skew orthogonal Junshin girder bridge recently completed in Japan.
