Determination of effectiveness of window shading materials on reduction of solar radiation heat gain
Transmission factors for five different materials were determined by solar calorimeter tests, and by calculation through independently measured reflectivities and transmissivities of materials; equations derived for transmission factor calculation in application to window and room; checks between experimental and calculated transmission factors are good in all cases.
