Static calculation is made considering plinth as group of corbels fitted in pillar and submitted to load due to ground pressure except effect of foundation dead weight; formulas valid for solid of Saint-Venant are applied to elastic system in which no dimension is prevailing if compared with others; calculation method for parallelepiped body plinth considered as elastic body, subject to equilibrium system of strains formed by pillar load and ground pressure.
