Structural concrete in tropical climates
Article discusses difficulties in structural concrete work which are directly attributable to, or aggravated by, tropical climate, and measures required in specification and control to maintainsatisfactory quality; it is based on field experience in Malawi, and on review of laboratory results reported from number of different places; effects of high temperature, dry heat, humid heat, and extreme temperature range are considered.
