It is shown that it is possible to obtain theoretically moment-curvature relationships of reinforced concrete members under short time loading from zero to ultimate moment taking into account concrete quality, percentage of reinforcement, quality of steel, and contribution of concrete tensile zone between cracks to rigidity of member; experimental evidence indicates that rotation capacity of plastic hinges depends also on method of application of load on to beam.
