Failure criterion of lightweight aggregate concrete subjected to triaxial compression
Representation of failure criteria of materials under combined stresses as convex surfaces in principal stress space, based on theoretical studies of failure of homogeneous isotropic brittle materials; work was done in connection with evaluation of safety factors of concrete structures; failure surface of light weight aggregate concrete was determined experimentally through uniaxial, biaxial and triaxial compression tests using 10.5 cm cube specimens.
