Effect of chlorides upon hydration of portland cement and upon some clinker minerals
Chemical and thermoanalytical methods and X-ray diffractometry were used in study; samples for experimental investigation were prepared from laboratory-made pure tricalcium silicate, β-dicalcium silicate and tricalcium aluminate, and Portland cement of various composition; results describing influence of chlorides on content of nonevaporable water and on cement strength, and effect of chlorides on composition of liquid phase are discussed; thermoanalytical determinations.
