Analysis of curved twin box girder bridges
Straight twin box girder bridges represent only limiting case of problem under consideration, for which simplified equations are derived and included in paper; in both cases, solutions are given in terms of Fourier series; results of analysis of typical curved bridge are given; it appears that, pending further investigations, maximum live load moments in curved bridge girders are related to corresponding values of straight bridge in accordance with certain geometric ratios.
