Beams and plates under moment loads; for transverse beams subject to moment loads according to first- and second-order theory and for plates similarly loaded according to Kirchhoff's theory, differential equations are derived and compared with those for transverse loading; field matrices are given for calculating beams by means of reduction method; stress calculation is explained and dependence of shear stresses on manner of moment loading introduction is discussed.
