At munitions factory, precast reinforced concrete slabs have been erected in lengths of 13 ft 4 in. to span between encased supporting steel beams, and have then been covered with in-situ concrete 4 in. thick so as to form flat roof 6 in. thick; method of casting slabs; arrangement of roof slab, and method of forming dowel holes shown in drawings.
