Quarter-wave method of speaker testing
Simple method of loud speaker testing described, along with results of experiments showing its usefulness; using this method, serviceman can determine average frequency response of speakers, as seen from various points in auditorium; he can determine also, for specific auditorium, horn system distribution pattern that allows use of minimum of acoustic treatment and also position of this treatment.
