Dam extends 3500 ft from end to end on crest; when it was finished, 1,500,000 sq ft of Celotex absorptive form liner material had been used to create its tough, smooth surfaces; fibrous nature and low density of absorptive form liner permit air entrapped in mix along face of form to escape directly through liner, thereby allowing aggregate and cement to fill space previously occupied by air.
