Dam raising project consisted of removal of seven sluice gates from their present position and setting them 19 ft higher; concrete gravity dam was raised 31 ft; flood control gates consist of five 30×30 ft and two 45×12 ft Stoney sluice gates; raising was necessary because of accumulation of silt by which capacity of reservoir was considerably reduced.
