Strengthening old cast-iron railway bridge over Rhone river, at La Voulte with reinforced concrete
Work of reinforcement was carried out without interruption of traffic; both tracks received auxiliary supports by means of two Differdinger longitudinal beams, which rest on transverse beams 5.3 m. apart; concrete reinforcement consisted of continuous slab along entire lower face of arch; there is likewise continuous reinforced-concrete slab on upper face of arch.
