Bibliography with selected annotations on accelerated strength-testing procedures that are used to obtain early estimate of 28-day compressive strength of concrete; new procedure, autogenous curing, is described in which strength development of concrete test cylinder is accelerated by curing in well-insulated container that retains part of heat of hydration; it is shown that accelerated strength test provides information equally as valid, at least 26 days sooner.
