Exothermic mixtures containing chromium and manganese for alloying steels in ladle
Report of investigation of properties of exothermic mixtures containing chromium and manganese and of conditions for using them as ladle additions; in laboratory tests, which were confirmed under industrial conditions, recovery of Cr was 90-97% and of Mn 88-90%, when mixtures were used as briquets. (See also Stal n 4 Apr 1963 p 315-20)
