Mechanism of formation and distribution of oxide inclusions in ball-bearing steel
If in production of ShKh15 steel metallic bath contains not more than 0.0015-0.0010% oxygen before deoxidation with aluminum formation of silicate glass and silicate inclusions are reduced considerably; small quantity of alumina is obtained in metal, and there is sharp reduction in degree of contamination by globular inclusions.
