Calculating deformations in flat and edge roll passes when rolling T-sections
Roll pass design for 35×35×3.3 mm T-section was calculated on basis of theoretical formulas resulting from use of fundamental principles of mechanics of solids, and successfully applied to Chusovoe iron and steelworks mill. (See also Stal n 10 Oct 1962 p 925-8)
