Determination of air voids and voids in mineral aggregate in bituminous mixtures
Void properties and durability characteristics of paving mixture are discussed and remedial measures suggested; experiments were conducted on 3/8 in. mix; 4 Marshall cylinders and 2 uncompacted samples were prepared at each bitumen content; bitumen contents used were 4, 5, 6, and 7%.
