Shop building for repair of heavy equipment being constructed by Oregon Highway Dept at Salem; roof system consists of seven precast, prestressed concrete girders spaced 20 ft apart; roof slab, also precast but not prestressed, consists of panels 18 ft 7 3/4 in. long by 6 1/2 ft wide; reinforcement consists of eight cables enclosed in flexible metal sheath; prestressing was done by Freyssinet system.
