MD engineering seismograph and its application to highway engineering
Subsurface problems which can be solved by MD seismograph include determination of thickness of surface layer, or depth to layer boundary, determination of depths to 2 layer boundaries, dip of rock surface, identification of materials in each of layers, and engineering classification of material properties, such as bearing capacity and rippability; operation of seismograph; examples of seismograph applications to various highway projects.
