Radiant methods of heating could be divided into classes, first high temperature, or incandescent methods, and other low temperature, or distribution methods; thermometer no guide to comfort; radiant methods examined; points for and against low-temperature radiant system; floor heating for large buildings; appliances giving dark heat; disadvantages in maintaining high temperature; radiating surfaces.
