Welded construction on Houston airport hangars
Hangars are of all-metal type, corrugated iron sheeting being used to cover arc-welded steel superstructure; each 75 ft. wide, 125 ft. long and approximately 50 ft. high; entire fabrication of arches was completed on ground; all connections were made by electric arc-welding process. (See also Am. Contractor vol. 49, no. 41, Oct. 13, 1928 p. 17, 2 figs)
