Design and construction of lock chambers, sluice gates, operating mechanism, etc., of twin locks at lower end of Oder-Spree canal; locks, built of reinforced concrete, are to overcome 14.28 m. maximum difference in elevation and take place of three old double locks; lock chambers, 34 m. apart, are of 130 m. useful length, 12 m. wide, over 20 m. deep, have unusually massive walls up to 7 m. thick.
