Chief feature of design is in framework, which is of reinforced concrete with board planking resting directly on it; new boardwalk is 3,687.68 ft. in length, and measures 60 ft. from out to out; concrete beams and girders; amount of steel reinforcing used; no lumber is used in construction of walk except on deck; wrought-iron pipe forms railing.
