Pile oscillator measurements of resonance absorption integrals
Measurements of 35 materials are reported; effective cross-sections were measured by Dimple pile oscillator in both pure thermal neutron spectrum and in one with appreciable epithermal component; difference between cross-sections found leads directly to resonance absorption integral; experiments also performed to measure amount of self-screening.
