Rock pressure in vertical workings
Results of study of 127 shafts in Donets basin indicate that collapsing was mainly caused by mechanical properties of rocks, gravitational force, inflow of water, blasting and possibility of displacement of separated lumps of rock; basic formula for calculation of rock pressure considers phenomenon as slumping prim; calculation of temporary and permanent supports.
