Advantages of using cold sinter in blast furnaces
Operating experience at Cherepovets works indicates advisability of air cooling sinter followed by screening to separate 0-5 mm fines for returns; improvement in aerodynamic properties of blast furnace burden, especially one with 100% sinter.
