Fire test performance of treated lumber in Factory Mutual Engineering Corp, Norwood, Mass Construction Materials Calorimeter; equipment consists of furnace, exposure and evaluation burners, air supply, flue and stack, and opening on top to accommodate test specimen and blank cover; exposure fuel is heptane, discharged into furnace at constant rate 4 1/2 gph through three 60° nozzles to create standard fire exposure to test piece; combustibility test results are compared with those by other methods.
