Flexural problem of supported circular plate with free overhanging edge by concentrated force is considered; material and thickness of plate in portions separated by support can be different and concentrated force may be applied at arbitrary point in either region; solutions of two related problems, each according to region of applied force, are obtained and deflections of plate for both problems are presented; effect of loading positions on bending moments and shear resultants at support.
