Kinetic relations of oxidation of butadiene on a vanadium-phosphorus catalyst
Abstract 1. A study was made in a continuous circulatory apparatus of oxidation of butadiene on a vanadium-phosphorus catalyst and relations established of the variation of rates of formation of reaction products according to process parameters. 2. Intensive oxidation of butadiene is the main source of CO formation. Oxidation of butadiene is inhibited by adsorption of reaction products by the catalyst.
