The Kashim Ibrahim library building: Its genesis, progress and prospects
Abstract Kashim Ibrahim Library is the Central Linrary of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. It is one of the oldest University Libraries in Nigeria. This paper is intended to give the reader the picture of what led to planning the building, hor the briefs were prepared, the final outcome of the preparation, and problems experienced. The present holdings of the library are 160 000 volumes of books and 5138 journal titles.
