Benefits from agricultural development projects: Another lesson from Nigeria
AbstractThis study assesses the impact of a World Bank assisted agricultural development project on rural farmers in Igaland. The data indicate that regardless of rural farmers' level of education, those directly employed in the project are more likely to be in the high-income bracket than their peers who are not so employed. The analysis also suggests that those rural farmers in direct contact with the project were more likely to feel positive about its various benefits to Igalaland than the uninvolved.
