δ-dicalcium silicate and its hydraulicity
Abstractδ-Dicalcium silicate was prepared free from the β-modification and its possible hydraulicity investigated for up to five years in a carbon dioxide free atmosphere. It was found that ddg-dicalcium silicate was hydraulic, but much less so than the β-variety. A similar type of calcium silicate hydrate was produced to that given by α, α'- and β-dicalcium silicate.
Zusammenfassungδ-Dikalziumsilikat wurde in der Abwesenheit von der Bgb-Modifikation vorbereitet und seine mögliche Hydraulizität wurde bis auf fünf Jahren in Kohlendioxydfreie Luft untersucht. Es wurde gefunden, daβ δ-Dikalziumsilikat hydraulisch war aber viel weniger als die β- Form. Eine Form des Kalziumsilikathydrats ähnlich wie die durch α-,α -und and β-Dikalziumsilikat gegeben wurde erzeugt.
