A simultaneous semi-isothermal method of thermogravimetry and derivative thermogravimetry, and its application to cement pastes
AbstractA description is given of a semi-isothermal thermogravimetric method for the mineralogical examination of Portland cement paste, and for the determination of its major constituents. Numerical treatments of the experimental results are suggested and good reproducibility of the data obtained for hardened cement paste is demonstrated. The applicability of the method to standard materials is tested and the results are quoted as supporting evidence for its validity.
ZusammenfassungEine semi-isothermisch thermogravimetrische Methode ist für die Mineralogische Prüfung sowie fur die Bestimmung der Hauptkomponenten des Portland zementsteins vorgeschlagen. Es werden numerische Behandlungen fur die experimentellen Engebnissen vorgeschlagen. Die vorgesschlagene Methode gewährleistet gute quantitative Ergebnisse, was am Hand von Versuchsergebnissen mit anderen standard Materiallen ihre Versuchseignung bestätigt wurde.
