Dehydrogenation of n-butane to buta-1,3-diene in the presence of iodine in an apparatus with a moving Mn3O4 bed
Abstract 1. The main laws of oxidative dehydrogenation of butane in the presence of iodine were studied in a device with a moving acceptor (Mn3O4) bed. 2. With a constant total buta-1,3-diene and butene yield the ratio of C4H6 : C4H8 in the reaction products increased and the hydrogen iodide losses from the reactor decreased with increase of teh gravimetric ratio of acceptor: butane.
