Abstract 1. 1. The oxidation kinetics of two samples of hydrocarbon fuel T-6 with different thermal-oxidative stabilities and sulphur-containing compounds are compared. 2. 2. With the same parameter $a= k 2 √2k 6 [RH]$ the fuel samples examined were shown to differ considerably in type of oxidation. 3. 3. It was shown that for a hydrocarbon fuel sample with lower thermal-oxidative stability, as oxidation proceeds, stronger free radical sources (compared with hydroperoxides) appear.
