Hydrogenation of unsaturated hydrocarbons in the presence of palladium complexes fixed on a polymeric support
Abstract 1. A new metal-complex Pd catalyst fixed on a polymer matrix has been synthesized. It exhibits high activity and stability in the hydrogenation of unsaturated hydrocarbons and does not require additional activation by NaBH4. 2. The activity of the catalyst depends on the nature and composition of the solvent. In a mixed benzene-methanol solvent, the rate of the reaction is higher than in pure benzene.
