Grey correlation analysis between strength of slag cement and particle fractions of slag powder
AbstractThe particle size distributions of slag powder were investigated by Laser Scatter equipment. The influence of particle fractions of slag powder on the compressive strength of slag cement composed of 50% slag powder and 50% Portland cement was also studied by the method of grey correlation analysis. The results indicated that the volume fraction of particles 5–10μm had a maximum positive effect on the mortar compressive strength of slag cement at 7d and the volume fraction of particles 10–20μm had a maximum positive effect on the mortar compressive strength at 28d, whereas the volume fraction of particles larger than 20μm had a negative effect on the mortar compressive strength at 7 and 28d.
