Roller Door Drive Assembly
Abstract A roller door drive assembly (1) is provided that has a drive module (3) and an electrics module (5). The drive 5 module (1) has radial external dimensions that enable fitting within a roller door curtain drum to impart drive to permit up and down roller of the door curtain (35). The drive module (3) and the electrics module (5) have co operable mounting surfaces (15/41/43) so they can be 10 mounted together and operatively positioned at a side edge of the door curtain (35) if there is sufficient room. If there is insufficient room, the drive module (3) can be separated from the electrics module (5) so the drive module can be operatively fitted within the drum curtain 15 (35), and the electrics module (5) placed at distant position adjacent the roller door, and interconnected with the drive module (3) by suitable electric cable.
