A pair of support arms (29, 29') are swingably provided for holding guide plates (8a) of a pallet (8) therebetween. Therefore, even when the position of the pallet (8) is slightly deviated, the deviation can be eliminated by swing of the support arms (29, 29'). Thus, the guide plates (8a) of the pallet (8) can be held reliably and the pallet (8) can smoothly be translocated between a parking chamber (2) and a lifter (10).
