A water tap (1) is disclosed, which comprises an operating element (5, 6) for operating the tap (1), a sensor (14) for detection of the touch of at least a portion (5) of the tap (1) by an object and generation of a detection signal and signalling means (15, 17, 18) for generation of a warning signal based on the detection signal. The sensor (14) and the signalling means (15, 17, 18) are configured to generate a warning signal at a touch of at least a portion of the tap (1). A hot water system comprising the water tap is also disclosed.
