The invention relates to a hydraulic power plant, comprising the following features: at least one turbine; a foundation structure carrying at least one turbine; and the foundation structure comprises at least one supporting pillar that is connected to a base at the bottom of the body of water. The invention is characterized in that tie rods are arranged inside or outside the supporting pillar in the region of the connection of the supporting pillar to the base to impose a preload force.
