An odour removal device for a toilet, having a water cistern for flushing waste. The extraction device is powered by a low voltage fan, held in an enclosure situated outside the toilet room, which draws air from inside the cistern creating a vacuum, which then draws air 5 from the toilet bowl via the cistern overflow tube. The fan is powered by mains or solar power having a push button switch which automatically turns off after a set period of time. With multiple options in installation and powering, the simplicity of this device, ease of use, effectiveness in operation and alternate methods of installation, make this device unique in its field. It enables the bathroom or toilet room to remain smelling fresh at all times. Fig "A"
