Abstract A working machine joystick assembly comprising: a joystick arranged to control one or more functions of a working machine; and a mechanical linkage assembly configured to operatively connect the joystick to spool valves to control the one or more functions; wherein the joystick comprises at least two axes of movement, one axis being a twist axis, each axis of movement being configured to mechanically actuate a separate spool valve through the mechanical linkage assembly.
