Method for constructing cylindrical tank
A method for constructing a double shell-structured cylindrical tank having an inner vessel and an outer vessel. The method has: a step for alternately and repeatedly raising, by using jack-up devices (18), inner vessel side plates (9) and attaching the next inner vessel side plate (9) to the lower side of the raised inner vessel side plates (9) inside a PC wall (2) and for assembling first structures (9A) of the inner vessel that exclude the lowest level; a step for assembling a second structure (9B), which is the lowest level of the inner vessel, on an annular part (13) that is provided to a base slab (1) and is for supporting the inner vessel; and a step for joining the first structures (9A) and the second structure (9B) and assembling the inner vessel.
