REINFORCED SPLIT DOOR JAMB AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION
Abstract A reinforced pre-finished aluminium split door jamb having separate components that are interconnecting to allow for variable width adjustment to suit different wall thicknesses. Primary connecting means via a multiple number of long screws that lock the separate components together from the rear. Secondary connecting means and method of installation is via reinforcing hinged brackets that are mechanically connected to the rear face of the split door jamb components. Additional mitre connector pieces are inserted into the outer most cavities of the split door jamb profile that accurately align and provide strengthening to the mitre join connection. 524 520 350 600 312/310 524 54 -- 350 Fig. 9
