A drainage apparatus to catch water flowing back from a roof penetration flashing to distribute water in a direction along the side of the flashing, the apparatus comprising one or more water collecting pans adapted for being positioned below at least a first roof panel for receiving the water flowing back from said at least one side of the roof penetration flashing and to direct the water onto another roof panel located at or along another side of the flashing.
