    Abstract A structural insulated panel 10 comprises a pair of spaced apart boards 12, 14, a cured foamed thermosetting polymer layer 16 between the pair of spaced apart boards 12, 14, wherein the cured foamed thermosetting polymer layer 16 was formed by the thermosetting polymer flowing into the space between the boards prior to curing. A method of forming the structural insulated panel is also disclosed.
