A covered PC steel twisted wire (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e, 1f, 1g, 1h) which is provided with: a twisted wire (2) that is obtained by twisting a plurality of steel strands (21); an anti-corrosion covering (3) that has an outer peripheral portion (31) which covers the outer periphery of the twisted wire (2); an outside covering (6) that covers the outer periphery of the anti-corrosion covering (3); and an optical fiber (4) that is arranged at a position corresponding to a twist groove (22) of the twisted wire (2) inside the outer peripheral surface of the outside covering (6) in such a manner that the optical fiber (4) follows expansion and contraction of the twisted wire (2).
